World II World is in development for iOS and Android, with an expected debut in Japan during Winter 20. The evolved battle system takes the exciting mind-reading game to a whole new level 3-on-3 Tag Team Fighting: Players build their own perfect team and use. The Machina characters have a smooth, android-like appearance, while the Labor characters sport bulky cybernetic enhancements and more mechanical-looking gear. The World II World trailer also introduces other characters from the different worlds, with differing art styles to distinguish their respective environments. A supposedly free-roaming game like this should never require players to complete apparently non-mandatory tasks. A sequel, Two Worlds II, was released in Europe in 2010 and in North America in 2011. The two form a bond, and even exchange “parts”, with Fujoh and LA-CCA trading mechanical forearms. Two Worlds is a 2007 high fantasy action role-playing game developed by Reality Pump and published by TopWare Interactive in Europe and by SouthPeak Games in North America for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The story begins when a Labor boy named Fujoh encounters a Machina girl named LA-CCA. The game’s setting hinges on the separation of the two worlds: One floating in the sky and ruled by the robotic “Machina”, and another scrabbling below, populated by humans, called “Labor”. Sometimes one character on the top screen will be battling, while the other on the bottom screen converses or explores. This add-on introduces three new maps to the multiplayer mode, over three hundred pieces of gear, and entirely new opponents. Players will be able to manipulate characters in each “world” screen independently, watching cutscenes and engaging in battles on each screen in turn. Theres an interesting sub-plot in Two Worlds II about an uneasy peace between Orcs and men after a long and brutal war, motivated by their mutual hatred of the dark lord Gandohar, but Reality. Daniel Betke - Lead Physics/Animation Programmer on both Two Worlds games - he's also credited as a Gameplay Programmer on Witcher 3 and expansions, and then as Programmer on Blair Witch (a Bloober game), so he presumably has worked at both in succession, or at least done contract work for them. An expansion to Two Worlds II, in which the players get to explore ancient ruins located in the eastern part of Antaloor. The game plays out over two screens arranged vertically on the player’s device screen. The concept of having two worlds in World II World is woven into the very format of its structure.
