![]() ![]() From the pictures that you sent, this is one of the most corroded track bars I've seen in a while. Thank you for sending over the pictures of your track bar. I will include some photos in this email and can take better ones if needed. I have had the part installed for many years and have never had any other issues. I was only going 5 MPH at the time this happened and was making the same turn I make multiple time a week to go to the store. As I mentioned earlier I was driving down the road and turned into a parking lot and the track bar's adjustable head snapped where it threads into the sleeve. I just spoke with one of your techs on the phone regarding my broken rear track bar. Here are some photo's of he broken bar and the new one. I have since replaced the Track bar with a Teraflex model and will never put another Synergy Manufacturing part on my vehicle. Instead of explaining the situation any more I'll let you all read the email chain as I believe you all should have the opportunity to review the situation as it occurred in writing. Customer Service Representative Kurt Johnson informed me that despite A.J.'s promise that they would not offer me a replacement, unless I bought a new one of course. ![]() Shortly after I received another email this time from their customer service department. Well, a day passed and I had not heard a reply, so I called and left them a message to check in. He then told me to send him an email with pictures of the damage and my information, so I did and was expecting to arrange shipping details later that day. All he requested was that I send the old bar back to them. He was surprised to hear this incident had occurred and offered to replace the part on Synergy's dime, even after I told him that I was not calling for a replacement because I was aware of their policy. who was engaging, kind, and extremely helpful. Knowing this I decided to call their engineering department to simply make them aware of this issue. Anyway, I read on Synergy's website that they do not warranty parts that other owners had installed nor do they warranty the finish of their products. The previous owner of this Jeep did the lift and therefore I do not know how old it is, but it has definitely been on since I bought it in June of 2015. Normally I would have replaced it myself but since I am away at college and it is finals week I decided to have a local shop do the work.Īfter doing some research I noticed that Synergy Manufacturing produced the track bar that broke. I parked the jeep and had it towed to a local shop to be fixed. The track bar broke where the axle side end went into the main bar at the adjuster sleeve. As I was turning into a parking lot going about 5 MPH my rear track bar broke in half.
